When arriving to Schiphol Airport you will be able to easily travel to our Haarlem Bed and Breakfast using several options, including bus, train, and taxi. Traveling by train or bus take approximately the same amount of time. Please read appropriate instructions below.
Haarlem is easily reached from Schiphol or Amsterdam by train. All trains arrive at Haarlem Central Station. The station is located near the center of Haarlem and travel to our bed and breakfast can be completed by bus or taxi, see instructions below.
To reach our bed and breakfast from Schiphol airport by bus exit the front of the airport and you will see several lanes of traffic in front of airport. Proceed across all traffic lanes to the outter most lane and locate the bus stop for the #300 bus to Haarlem on the left hand side. The ride from Schiphol to Haarlem on bus takes approximately 20 minutes and is a comfortable ride. If your luggage is limited you may take the V&D Department Store stop (look for McDonalds) in Haarlem. Upon exiting the bus walk back to McDonalds and turn right on Grote Houtstraat. Continue on Grote Houtstraat and cross bridge over canal, then turn to the right to find our bed and breakfast as Raamsingel 40. Else you can proceed to the Haarlem Central Station and take one of several local Haarlem buses to our bed and breakfast.
There are several taxi services available from Schiphol airport. Simply provide the address of our Haarlem Bed and Breakfast to the driver. Taxi services are also available at the Haarlem Central Station.
Traveling by car in Holland is a great way to give yourself the freedom to see many of the out of way tourist destinations many people miss when traveling by train or bus. There are many public parking places in Haarlem including near our bed and breakfast.
